This was bought as a birthday gift for my 14 year old granddaughter, who not only loves building Lego with her father, but loves all space related things too. They built it over two days, unfortunately dropping it twice and having to rebuild it, but that gave them a better understanding of the working parts. As it took two days to build, I would say it was value for the money, some parts were more confusing than others to assemble, but that is down to the very small pieces for the intricate details. Overall it looks amazing and is fascinating.

I loved Lego as a kid and a few years ago my wife surprised me with a technical set. I've been into it ever since and when she asked what I wanted for Christmas this year I asked for the Mars Rover. I already have the Saturn V, Lunar Lander, Shuttle and Space Station so this pretty much completes the set. It's a smaller kit than most of them, but I found it a very enjoyable build as it's really quite technical and there's not a lot of repetition. I'm yet to have a set that was missing any parts and this was no different, as usual there were maybe two or three dozen extra of the smaller parts, which seems to be common with most of the sets I've had. My wife was going to pay the standard price from the Lego store of £85 when I spotted it on Amazon at just £60, a bargain.

El proceso de construcción es una aventura en sí misma. Para empezar, algo sencillito: el helicóptero Ingenuity. Luego ya iremos a por los diferentes módulos y secciones. El proceso de construcción es motivante, al nivel de otros Lego Technic, pero dada la estructura del modelo y el tamaño relativamente pequeño de muchas piezas requiere una especial atención. Las subconstrucciones no son aburridas como en algunos modelos en que se repiten sin cesar. El Rover tiene una pieza de dirección en la parte superior que permite girar a la izquierda o a la derecha. Las ruedas delanteras y traseras pueden girar completamente 90 grados. Además, incluye un taladro frontal que se puede controlar con dos piezas de la parte trasera. Tiene algunos problemas con su suspensión y transmisión. A veces, las ruedas se pueden poner a girar de forma extraña mientras se conduce, y pueden llegar a soltarse. My 9 year old built this with limited help from his dad had lots of fun, hours of fun playing with it and building it since brought it. Came in one peace, the delivery was a lot faster than expected and great communication with the postage. Would highly recommend for a Lego savy person not for starting out but pretty cool
